Extras & Excursions
From rental equipment and whale-patrolling trips to island excursions and cultural visits — everything you need to complete your Alor adventure.
If you're not travelling with full kit, we offer rental gear (subject to availability). Please let us know during your booking what you need so we can reserve the correct sizes.
For guests interested in combining diving with whale watching, we set out by boat to actively search for whales. If conditions are favourable — based on our guides' expertise — there may be opportunities for snorkeling and freediving alongside them.
Type of whales: From June to November the migration goes through Alor, providing the opportunity to spot Pygmy Blue Whales (second-biggest animal ever lived, after the blue whale) and Sperm Whales (the biggest predator ever lived). Short-finned pilot whales, melon-headed whales, spotted, spinner and bottlenose dolphins are present year-round, with the occasional whale shark and orca for the very lucky.
- Requires a minimum of 5 guests for whale-watching trips.
- Minimum age is 5 years old; half-day trips are recommended for 5–10 year-olds.
- Whale watching can be scheduled on separate days from diving, or on the day prior to departure when diving is not permitted.

Important Information
** All rates are per person in USD and based on double / twin occupancy. Rates include full-board meals, airport transfers, house-reef diving, and the mandatory 12% Government Tax. Single occupancy supplements apply. Rental equipment is subject to availability — please request during booking to ensure correct sizes are reserved for your stay. Marine Park Fees are payable separately at the resort on arrival. Please contact us for group bookings or custom arrangements.
