They cover the booking process, payment, cancellation, and the terms of your stay. Please read them carefully before confirming a booking.

Group Bookings — Occupancy
All resort packages are priced per person so that each guest can choose the package that suits them best — whether travelling solo, as a couple, or with a group.
Single occupancy
Guest bungalows can be booked as single occupancy. We can accommodate up to 2 guests on single occupancy per day, allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. If single occupancy spaces are already filled for your dates, additional single-occupancy bookings incur a supplement of USD $140 per night.
Double occupancy
All seven garden-view bungalows are designed for double occupancy. Four feature two twin-size beds; three feature one king bed plus a sofa bed, suitable for twin share or triple occupancy with a child.
Triple occupancy
Our waterfront rooms configured with one king bed plus a sofa bed can be booked as triple occupancy, provided the third guest is a child sharing. Maximum age for the third guest is 12 years old. Triple occupancy family rates are USD $110 per night per guest less than the Resort Only package rate.
Quadruple occupancy
Our three two-bedroom waterfront bungalows are designed for quadruple occupancy, accommodating two guests per room. The main bedroom on the mezzanine level features a king-size bed and private balcony; the second bedroom features two twin beds — ideal for families or groups of friends. Quadruple bookings configured for single occupancy in the waterfront bungalow incur a supplement of USD $300 per night per room.
Group Bookings — Charter Options
Moko Alor Dive Resort is ideal for small groups, offering personalized service and an intimate, family-style setting. We offer two charter options that grant private use of the resort and tailored arrangements.
Full Charter (22–26 guests)
Private use of the entire resort — all 3 waterfront and 7 garden-view bungalows. We accommodate the entire stay from arrival to departure based on your group's schedule and dive/snorkel interests. Minimum 24 paying guests required. Free-of-charge policy: 12 paying guests plus 1 complimentary (12+1). Custom packages and itineraries are available — please contact us for details.
Half Charter (10–13 guests)
Use of up to 3 waterfront bungalows or 6 garden-view villas, plus private use of one of our speedboats. Three guides are assigned to your group throughout the stay. Daily site choice and dive schedule are made by our guides in consultation with your group based on your interests. Maximum recommended for a half charter is 12 divers or 10 snorkelers plus guides per speedboat.
What's Included and Not Included
Detailed inclusions and exclusions are listed on our Rates & Packages page. In summary:
Included in all packages
Accommodation, all meals (full board), airport transfers, unguided house-reef diving and snorkeling, all applicable government taxes (12%).
Not included
Marine Park Fees (payable directly at the resort — currently IDR 1,500,000 per year or IDR 250,000 per day, subject to government change), laundry, alcoholic beverages, dive/snorkel rental equipment, Nitrox, gratuities, and any extras purchased on-site.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical emergencies, dive-specific coverage (such as DAN — Divers Alert Network), evacuation, and repatriation. Alor is a remote location and medical evacuation from a serious incident can be costly. Without appropriate insurance, all such costs are your responsibility.
Some guests may be required to demonstrate appropriate dive insurance before participating in certain dive activities.
Dive Safety and Certification
All divers must:
- Provide proof of certification from a recognized agency (PADI, SSI, RAID, NAUI, or equivalent)
- Complete our medical declaration form before any diving activity
- Disclose any medical conditions or medications that may affect diving safely
- Have logged a minimum number of dives appropriate to the sites being attempted (our guides may adjust dive plans based on experience)
- Follow our guides' instructions and dive plans at all times
We reserve the right to refuse dive participation on any site if, in our guides' judgment, a guest's experience, fitness, or current condition makes the dive unsafe. Refunds are not provided in such cases — alternative activities can usually be arranged.
Conditions Beyond Our Control (Force Majeure)
We cannot be held responsible for events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: severe weather, sea conditions that prevent boat operations, volcanic activity, earthquakes, government travel restrictions, pandemics, civil unrest, transport strikes, or airline cancellations affecting your arrival or departure.
In the event of force majeure that prevents your stay from going ahead, we will offer to reschedule your booking to a future date within 12 months at no penalty. Refunds in such cases are at our discretion, balancing your situation against operational commitments we have already made.
Weather-affected dive days
If diving cannot proceed due to sea conditions, we will offer alternative activities (snorkeling in protected sites, house-reef diving, land excursions) where safely possible. Unused dive days are not refundable as they form part of the package price.
Photography and Media
During your stay, our staff or photographers may capture images and video of resort activities. These may be used in our marketing, social media, and website. If you prefer not to appear in such content, please let us know on arrival and we will respect your preference.
Guests are welcome to photograph and film during their stay. We ask that you respect the privacy of other guests and our staff, and follow our guides' instructions when photographing marine life (no touching, no flash on sensitive species, no chasing).
Guest Conduct
We want every guest to feel welcome and safe. We expect respectful behaviour toward our staff, other guests, the local community, and the marine environment. Disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behaviour may result in termination of your stay without refund.
This is a remote location where staff and guests live in close proximity. Mutual respect makes it work.
Marine Environment
The Alor Archipelago is part of an ecologically sensitive region with significant marine biodiversity. All guests are expected to follow responsible diving and snorkeling practices: no touching coral or marine life, no collecting shells or marine specimens, no littering at sea, and respect for our guides' direction on protected species. Marine Park Fees are payable directly at the resort and support local conservation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The terms in effect at the time of your booking confirmation are the ones that apply to your stay. Significant changes to these terms will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
Governing Law and Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes will be addressed first through direct discussion with AUE management, and if unresolved, in the appropriate courts of Indonesia. Mandatory consumer protections that apply to you in your home jurisdiction are not affected by this clause.
