Dine in Moko Alor Dive Resort

Family Style Dining

After a day exploring Alor's incredible underwater world, gather around our table for authentic Indonesian cuisine served family-style. Our meals bring together divers from around the world to share stories, compare photos, and bond over the day's adventures—because some of the best diving memories happen above the surface.

We serve traditional Indonesian dishes prepared fresh daily, showcasing the flavors of the archipelago with local ingredients and time-honored recipes. Every meal is an opportunity to experience the warmth of Indonesian hospitality and discover new tastes alongside your fellow divers.

Fresh from Alor

The same waters you dive during the day provide much of what arrives in our kitchen. We source fresh fish and seafood directly from local fishermen who use traditional, sustainable fishing methods—line-fishing, bamboo fish traps, and selective spearfishing that respects the marine environment we all love. Our vegetables, fruits, and spices come from nearby markets and farms. Cooking in a remote archipelago means working with what's available and seasonal—which is exactly how Indonesian families have cooked for generations. You'll taste the difference that truly fresh, local ingredients make.

Dietary Requirements Welcome

We understand that divers come with different dietary needs and preferences. Some divers prefer not to eat seafood after spending their days underwater—we get it. That's why we also serve chicken and beef alongside our seafood dishes. Whether you're vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or have other dietary restrictions, just let us know in advance. Our kitchen team will ensure you enjoy the same delicious, satisfying meals as everyone else at the table.
